€150,000 allocated to improve access at Bray DART station
Fine Gael Wicklow TD, Simon Harris, has welcomed funding of €150,000 to design a new transport interchange at Bray DART station, and to provide better facilities for pedestrians, taxis and cyclists.
Deputy Harris said, “I am glad to see this investment being made to improve the facilities at Bray DART station. We must ensure our public transport is as accessible as possible, and these improvements to the transport interchange for taxis, pedestrians and cyclists at the station will help to achieve that.”
The funding is being allocated by the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport, Leo Varadkar, as part of a nationwide effort to improve local transport infrastructure.
