Funding provided for 19 projects to improve local transport infrastructure in Wicklow
Fine Gael Wicklow TD, Simon Harris has welcomed the allocation of over €800,000 to improve transport infrastructure in Wicklow. The funding will cover a range of projects from new transport interchanges, cycle paths and footpaths and pedestrian access options.
Welcoming the allocation, Deputy Harris said, “The projects covered by the scheme range in size, but each has the potential to make a real difference in the local community. This investment shows that real progress can be made, even in difficult times.”
